Rafting and Trekking in Tzoumerka, Epirus

Day 1: Arrive Tzoumerka
Drive to Tzoumerka Mountains. O/N in Tzoumerka

Day 2: Arachthos Rafting
Rafting in Arachthos River. Descent starts from the bridge of Politsa and ends at the stone bridge of Plaka, the highest arched bridge in Greece. You’ll follow the most beautiful part of the river, Arachthos Canyon with cliffs over 800 m high. The rafting is 9 km long, grade 2-3. O/N in Tzoumerka

Day 3: Kalarrites – Sirrako Trekking
Visit Kalarrites and Sirrako Villages, two traditional villages located in 1100 m altitude in South Pindos. A scenic path connects the two villages, giving you an enjoyable walking adventure (3 hrs round trip). Then you can visit Kipina Monastery, which is built on a vertical cliff, over Kalarritikos River, in the year 1212 AC. Kalarrites village. O/N in hotel

Day 4: Departure
In the morning drive to Ioannina airport or bus station.
If we have time we can also visit the old town Ioannina.
