A unique combination of dancing, living and playing outdoors, new friends and an active life style.  “Kedros”, a beautiful village within the National Park of Tzoumerka in Epirus, will host, for the first time in Greece, our Summer Dance Camp.

Dance Camp for the first time in Greece!!!
The first ever Summer Dance Camp is organized this year from Trekking Hellas, a camp organizer well known for its love of nature and experiential learning. Following the example of international dance camps, our Summer Dance Camp pertains to boys and girls 8 to 15 years old with or without previous dance experience.  The participants will be grouped according to their age and previous knowledge and follow the same curriculum. Our Summer Dance Camp offers daily classes of contemporary dance, hip hop, creative movement as well as theory and discussion. Classes will take place indoors, in two cabins with wooden floor while the morning yoga class will take place outdoors. At the end of the camp the children will present their choreography, their own show which they will create during the camp. The Dance campers will participate daily in selected activities of the camp and will take part in the river trekking excursion and the day trip and swimming in the river.

Morning program - Daily :

• Yoga for Kids, emphasis on breath, flexibility, relating to our natural environment
• Contemporary Dance, emphasis on technique and  stamina
• Hip Hop, moves and choreographies, technique of the most popular dance today

Afternoon Classes

• Theory and Discussion anatomy, kinesiology, videos, injury prevention, healthy eating habits etc.
• Discovering the Elements of Dance, experimenting with movement and improvisation, exploring our creativity

Location:
In the mountain Village “Kedros”, right at the heart of the National Park of Tzoumerka-Arahthos River, at an altitude of 920m. It is very close to village Katarraktis Artas, 47km from Arta and 60 km away from Ioannina.
Accomodation:
Kids sleep in the wooden cabins of the Mountain Village 
Transportation:
Transport is by company bus, from Athens or Thessaloniki
Meals:
All meals are prepared in the restaurant of the Mountain Village Nutrition is based on the principles of Mediterranean Diet.
Security:
Special care is taken during planning the camp so children can participate in all activities according to their age and abilities. Our experienced guides encourage, support and limit activities if necessary in order to ensure that all children benefit from the maximum security and get the best results in terms of experience and fun. 
With:
Chief of Camp: is Christos Lambris, mountaineer, with a long history of expeditions, among them Himalaya, the Andes, Antarctica. Our staff is experienced and accompanies their group in all activities, all day long.
Dance program: Anita Palimeri, teacher of creative dance and Kids yoga, mother of 2 daughters.
Two experienced teachers of contemporary dance and hip hop will support the dance program.
